This was such a cute book. It was about a nonverbal boy and his thoughts, and shows the world through his eyes. I loved the story and watching the parents start to loosen their reign on him. I loved the relationship between the boy and his sister and how she knew he could do more than the parents felt that he could do. All he wanted was to communicate with others, but it is hard when people don’t understand. I loved how inclusive it is. The author’s note says that it is about the author’s son, and I think that makes it even more special.
