Give this Book Away! is a book that you read but don’t keep. As the title suggests, the author urges the reader to pass the book on after they’ve read it. “Seriously, find someone you’ve never talked to before and hand them this book. Who will you pick?” The author describes how it might feel to be nervous about finding someone to give the book to, and how great it will feel when you do. Then the reader is urged to not stop there! “Give your words. Give your hands. Give your smiles. Give your time. Give your all.” I loved how the book portrays the joy of giving through the words and illustrations. I also appreciated the note that if the book came from the library, share it with a friend before you check it back in!
