Trex is an exciting and fast paced middle grade novel told from the perspective of three different characters: Trex, Mellie and Brick. The narrative easily transitions between each character’s point of view. This fun and well written book is easy to follow, notwithstanding its clever twists and turns. Trex conveys positive messages while addressing serious topics including mental health, family, friendship and acceptance. This is a great book for a 4th or 5th grade teacher to read out loud to their students. They will be enthralled with the story and thrills of Trex, Mellie, and Brick. It is one of those books that’s hard to put down!

He wasn’t counting on Mellie the Mouse. She lives in the creepiest house in Hopewell Hill, where she spends her time scowling, lurking, ignoring bullies, and training to be a spy. Mellie is convinced she saw lightning shoot from Trex’s fingertips, and she is Very Suspicious.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
