I really wanted to like this book more than I did. This book is cool in that it breaks down the cycle that before we can enjoy nature as we see it, a seed must be planted and the plant must be taken care of. It looks like it would be a rhyming book–even the way the words are printed out suggest that kind of style–but it does not and it throws you off a little bit. Plus, it is not a very exciting read. The illustrations, however, are gorgeous! I think it is a good one to have in the library but definitely not the newest favorite in my opinion.
