Not only is this a very cute story–it is a great one to teach how to help others calm down, and to calm down yourself. Plus the illustrations reminded me of Helen Yoon’s books.
This turtle is stuck on his back and none of the other animals’ tricks can help him get right-side-up. But when the possum comes and just stays with him–helps him take deep breaths, calm down, and laugh–turtle not only finds himself with a solution to his problem, but a new friend.
