In this book the butterfly flutters around from flower to flower and explores her new world, the very hungry and selfish caterpillar eats everything he can, and the chrysalis hangs tight to the branch through all sorts of weather, making this book fun to read. The illustrations are very happy and colorful and make the story exciting. It was fun to go through the caterpillar cycle in a different way. I like how at the end they share facts about the different stages of becoming a beautiful butterfly.
