Lina is the daughter of a windtamer (someone who can control the wind) and a groundling (what we would call human.) She has always assumed along with her family that she is a windtamer just like her mother, but things just seem to go wrong when it comes to her powers. She loves science and decides to go to a groundling middle school with her best friend. While she is there her power seems to go crazy. She realizes that her emotions seem to be connected with the crazy things she causes to happen. She is afraid to talk to her parents, because she doesn’t want them to take her out of the school she loves. So, what is she supposed to do? You will enjoy her journey to understand who she is and the resolution of her troubles. Cute story!
