This book was absolutely charming. When Sophia first starts her journey to get to the Academy, she finds that she is on a magical boat. When she arrives, she is met by beautiful fairies of all colors. She finds out that her father had been to the academy when he was younger and was a legend.
She needs to find and bond with her unicorn. When she does it is magical. Her hair and her unicorn’s mane both change to the same color. (It was an awesome moment.) And, naturally, our unicorn friends have magic powers.
Of course we need an antagonist, and we have one. An evil witch trying to make all the colors and magic disappear.
I really enjoyed this book!
