After Winnie discovers she is a shaman and has been tasked with capturing spirits, she and her now-friend (previously arch-nemesis) David have to guard the world from evil. In Book 2, Winnie has to figure out how to balance her new role as a Shaman with school and home life. Around Halloween things start to get a bit out of hand: the Counsel for the Shaman decide to send in another Shaman to help them out. But the new girl doesn’t think that they need to work together. Will the new girl be able to prove that she is better than them, or will the three of them learn to work together to defeat the evil that is invading their city?
