Bumps in the Night

Written by Amalie Howard

Rika Lovelace finds herself in trouble, again and again. Bad decisions all around. With her mom missing she doesn’t know how to deal with her fear. After the last escapade, her dad sends her to her grandmother in Trinidad. When she gets to her grandma’s house things starts getting strange. She makes friends with a talking lizard! The other children on the island are her Minders and they are here to help keep her safe. Why? Because she is a witch like her grandmother and mother before her. The reason her mother didn’t come home is because she has been trapped. Everyone working together must help rescue her mother and Nox’s father, Bais. Will they be able to defeat Bazil and save her mom?
