This book brings up so many interesting topics: anxiety, identity, sibling rivalry, family systems, and cultural superstitions, to name a few. The story also has undertones and perspectives of Indian traditions/culture that I found interesting and enjoyable to learn about, especially considering the author is originally from India. This brings uniqueness and personality to this story of struggle in the lives of twin sisters whose loyalty and love to one another can be a weakness but prevails as a triumph to them.
