The highlight of this book is the lettering. Very cute! Today Is for You is a rhyming picture book that is a celebration of life and living for the day and celebrating the individual. Some of the characters are represented in different races and also in people with disabilities. It did seem long; there are 48 pages. There are no central characters and there’s not really a plot, so I was a little underwhelmed. But the illustrations are cute! For grades K-3.
