Written by Chris Negron
Mortiner (not Mort or Morty) is trying to move forward after the death of his dog. He didn’t have a tight enough grasp on his leash, and he ran into the road. He can no longer stand his dog walking business and hands it over to his best friend. Finding out that his best friend doesn’t consider it the honor he thought it was makes him wonder if it was a good idea, especially when the new family moves into Ms. Opals house. They have a granddaughter, Willy, who also runs a dog walking business and is set to take all their business. In trying to get his head around having someone else own Ms. Opal’s house he discovers that greedy men are trying to take over Townsend Heights and turn it into a train station. In the end he stands up for himself, his family, and Townsend Heights.
