One day, Susan the duck is feeling a bit unlucky. Along comes a wolf congratulating her with a fabulous pot, perfect for making soup! Her seemingly bad luck becomes a lifesaver in the end. Children will love to predict and anticipate as the story unfolds. I love the color palette and the old-style cartoonish illustrations. This would be a fun, but nontraditional, read aloud for St. Patrick’s Day, allowing all students to participate.
