Just like two previous Joanna Ho books, Eyes that Kiss in the Corners and Eyes that Speak to the Stars, this new picture book is so very beautiful! Through poetic text the author shares how her eyes are different than her adoptive family’s and how their love connects them. She has questions about her history, but realizes that her eyes weave the world’s wonders and she can find hopes, dreams, and stories that are uniquely her own. The illustrations are breathtaking and fit the text perfectly. A wonderful read!
