Emily finds herself in a new school away from all her friends. She has to go back and forth between her Mom’s and Dad’s houses. Remembering what house she is in can be tricky. Her older step sister, Katie, is in a “Cupcake Club”. She gives Emily two cupcakes one morning and says they are magic. Indeed they do help her find three new friends and even a mini cupcake club of their own.
This is a perfect read for those readers who are ready for an easy chapter book. It has illustrated pages and large text, making it engaging to read.
