Frank looks different from the rest of his duck family. It doesn’t matter to them, they love him just as he is. Even if he is different then the other ducklings, he tries to do the important duck things. Learning to swim, preening his feathers and eating snails. Yuck!!! One day a fox comes to their little pond and starts stealing ducks to eat. There are some bully ducklings that send Frank out on a “quest” to find things to help with the fox. They are of course lying to him but he doesn’t know that. During his quest, he lives through a forest fire and saves a raccoon named Flinch. He makes friends with a tortoise, a raccoon and a bunch of geese. This is where he finds out that he is actually a goose. No wonder he wants to fly away! He comes back with all of his little friends and they work together to save the duck pond from the evil fox.
