Another fun addition to the Food Group series. The Big Cheese struggles with a BIG ego, until he learns a lesson from another cheese competitor. Like the other six food books this duo has teamed up to create, The Big Cheese is full of entertaining puns to amuse older readers. Yet the funny word play does not take away from the story. Oswald consistently draws the characters so they convey a lot of emotion on their simple faces. This is a good fit for students who have enjoyed other books in the series, or for competitors who need a reminder that it’s okay to not always be #1.
