Not-A-Box City

Written and Illustrated by Antoinette Portis

What happens when you have an idea, but your friends want to help? That is what rabbit has to learn in this appealing picture book. Rabbit wants to build his own city, but his friends want to help. Rabbit has to learn that maybe his original idea will be different than what he wanted, but it just might be better with help. The illustrated characters are simple black and white figures. There is limited use of color in the book, but it draws attention to the boxes and some of the additions made by Rabbit’s friends. The children in my library will have fun reading this book!
