Cousins reunite in 6th grade, after not seeing each other since three years old. Although they have different interests (robotics and gymnastics), the girls team up together to win the 6th grade class presidency and save the after-school clubs from the villain vice principal.
The tone of the novel shifts from realistic to superhero. This book champions activism and raising one’s voice for change. Positive representation of Black and indigenous populations and military families.
