Flamingos are Pretty Funky

A (not so) Serious Guide

Written and Illustrated by Abi Cushman

Did you know that a flock of flamingos is actually called a flamboyance? Or that what appears to be the bird’s knee is actually its ankle? No? Well, get ready to dive into all things flamingo in Flamingos are Pretty Funky, by author-illustrator Abi Cushman. Like its predecessor, Wombats are Pretty Weird, this book both informs and entertains with lots laughs and a little grossness along the way. The illustrations are both adorable and informative. Kids will love this one, perhaps even more than the first in the series.
