Quantum!

The Strange Science of the Smallest Stuff in the Universe

Written by Christopher Edge, Illustrated by Paul Davis

Love, love, love this book! Quark, a tiny particle in the book, explains the smallest things in the universe. But you can call him “Q.” He explains science in a way that children will find interesting: everything from protons and neutrons to explaining the formation of a star. He even goes through splitting an atom for nuclear fusion. The illustrations are really cute and explain everything perfectly in a way a child can understand easily. I think that I will be buying another for my students.
