Nana in the Country

Written and Illustrated by Lauren Castillo

Nana in the Country is a beautiful picture book by Lauren Castillo, who won a Caldecott Honor for Nana in the City. A grandma comes to the country to visit her grandchild, who is excited to show her all about the country. The grandkid worries that grandma already knows everything, and he won’t have anything to show her. But when a sheep gets out during a thunderstorm, maybe the grandkid does have something to teach. I love the illustrations showing the farm animals and everything country! A beautiful and simple book.
