The Grinch takes a Vacation is a fun graphic novel featuring the beloved Mr. Grinch. The reader follows the Grinch as he tries different vacation spots with his dog, Max. Readers will laugh at the Grinch’s silly antics as he experiences new things and is a “grinch” through it all.
I recommend this quick read for students with a love of Dr. Seuss and his classic characters! Though the story includes the Grinch, the illustrations are just different enough from the whimsy of Dr. Seuss that they fell a bit flat for me. Otherwise, it’s a fun read!
