A Dinosaur a Day

365 Incredible Dinosaurs to Take You Through the Year

Written by Miranda Smith, Illustrated by Jenny Wren, Juan Calle

This book will be great for students who love dinosaurs. There are 365 illustrations and descriptions of different dinos, which means it is full of dinosaurs that most of us have never heard of. Kids will love looking up their birthday to see which dinosaur is theirs; that’s the first thing my students did when I asked them what they thought of this book. The pictures are stylized, not very realistic, and some kids might not love that. Overall, I found it really interesting that there are so many new dinosaurs to learn about, and the right kid will really love this one.
