Made in Asian America

A History for Young People

Written by Erika Lee and Christina Soontornvat

This book is awesome! If you want a FULL and more COMPLETE version of the history and impact of Asian Americans on western civilization, this book is a must. I learned so many things I didn’t know before, and realized so many more ways Asian Americans helped shape and influence what we modernly know versus what little I learned in history. I don’t feel like this book is for the elementary level but feel it would do well in both middle school and high school. It doesn’t rose color history so there are sensitive topics and language.
