Wicked Marigold

Written by Caroline Carlson

I found this book to be a very good read. It has a lot of humor and the way she writes you can just see those two sisters different personalities. It is about a “good” princess sister and a “wicked” one. Marigold is the wicked one and she just doesn’t fit in. When her sister sings flowers bloom. Marigold is just fed up with the attention that her sister gets. One day someone calls her the wicked sister and she runs away and decides to be the wicked sister. She has a great adventure. It has a lot of fantasy qualities but I found some aspects of the book very relatable, especially if you have students who get jealous of other students. I highly recommend this book. The book with make you chuckle a lot.
