Alphonse, You’re Ruining the Show! is a simple story of fun, compromise, and trying something new. Kids will be drawn in by the fun illustrations and the silly speech bubbles throughout the book. Reminiscent of a Bluey story, two siblings write their own play, complete with wild twists and turns. The siblings try to compromise along the way, but when things get too tough, they learn to take a break and come back together ready to play again.
This is a fun story that would be enjoyed by young children with big imaginations and ideas. This book would definitely appeal to the lower grades due to its childlike characters and illustrations. I got this book for a student who shares the name with a character and look forward to sharing it with him and his class.
