Code Name Bananas

Written by David Walliams

This book is pure chaotic fun! Eric, his uncle Sid, and Gertrude the gorilla, have quite the over the top, hilarious adventure that ends in uncovering and disrupting a Nazi plot. The “blowing-raspberries,” “bum-raspberries,” and other bathroom humor will have the elementary crowding laughing out loud.

The story is fast moving, exciting and funny. Crazy enough to be entertaining, but still keeps the plot worthwhile.

I would recommend this book to 3-5 graders that enjoy silly books or students that need lots of action and antics to keep them interested in the book.
