A full book of infographics! Very modern, simple illustrations explain everything from the solar system to the natural history of Earth, and more. I read this to my own children, and I was surprised at how engaged they were considering it’s basically just a book full of charts and facts. I think this is the way kid’s brains prefer to learn now adays. It is full of small, bite-sized bits of info and unique visual representations comparing different sizes, ages or amounts of different animals, places, technology, natural disasters, etc. I think it would work best for older elementary kids that love non-fiction or for younger kids sitting with an adult that can explain what they’re looking at. Some of the charts are a little hard to figure out, and the illustrations are extremely simple. Overall, a very cool addition to the nonfiction library collection.
