This novel in verse introduces us to Alex, a neurodivergent 7th grader who attends school in a contained classroom and has a passion for all things outer space. While some adults in his life question his capabilities, Alex enjoys a strong relationship with his Papi.
When Alex gets an opportunity to attend a mainstream science class, he advocates for his fellow classmates to also be given chances to show their strengths beyond the contained classroom. Spanish is sprinkled into this book, making it a great pick for libraries with Spanish speakers.
