Written by Cokie Roberts, Illustrated by Diane Goode
Founding Mothers: Remembering the Ladies introduces the reader to ten women who lived during the time of our nation’s beginning. Some of the names are familiar, some are not, but all these women lived amazing lives and did their part to create the United States of America. I liked reading about these dynamic women and how they accomplished their goals during the time they lived. The facts are so interesting and the writing is easy to understand. The illustrations compliment the text and are beautiful and creative. Just as we are grateful to our Founding Fathers, we can be grateful to these women, our Founding Mothers, for what they did and for supporting the men so that they could establish our country.
