This book contained good information on this specific type of tortoise. I was a little disappointed that I had to search through the book to find out where and why the Galapagos turtles are unique. The photos were also a little lacking. This book would be more appealing if the photos were colorful and moving. One interesting feature is the comparison and trait chart in the back of the book. I am not sure if this book will be a stand out in our library’s reptile section.
