This book highlights different volunteer groups throughout a community. It is filled with actual photos of the volunteer work. From knitting hats for homeless shelters to a Boys & Girls Club picking up trash, the book covers a variety of ways to volunteer. I I was particularly impressed with the children who help train service dogs. I’m excited to have this book in our library in hopes of getting students interested about ways they can help others.
