The first time I read this book, I did not enjoy it very much. Second and third time I enjoyed it even more. The illustrations were different, but they grew on me. King Baby has his every whim fulfilled; his loyal subjects (his parents) wait on him hand and foot. But what happens when they can’t understand his demands? King Baby must become…A BIG BOY. The book is funny and very relatable—especially to new parents. Kids at storytime might relate to this story if they have a new sibling in their family.
