I wondered at the title The Nameless City. As I read the first section of this graphic novel, I recognize that this city is “nameless” because different groups of people who conquer the city rename the city. Kaidu and Rat meet on the streets of the Nameless City. Kaidu has come to be trained as a soldier. Rat is a street kid. As the two come to know each other and their backgrounds, they realize that they are not that far apart and may be able to learn from and help each other out. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to part 2.

I am a student in high school. I loved this book, especially the colors and the way is was done. I am a very big fan of animation. It begins in the nameless city and begins like a hero book or movie: the girl in the story does her best to be better than a boy and they have an adventure in the catacombs. They go through the city but they have depend on one another then they make it to the end both alive and find her parents.
