If Sharks Disappeared

Written and Illustrated by Lily Williams

In If Sharks Disappeared the artwork is cartoon like but in a way that still is realistic enough to recognize the different animals and such. This makes the artwork engaging for younger children. The information is presented in a simple yet engaging way. It presents in a simple way the concept that we live in a symbiotic world and all living creatures depend on each other to keep the work functioning and thriving as we know it. It is maybe a little on the scare tactic side, not over the top but a little which is why I didn’t give it more stars. But I would recommend it as a good purchase for a library. It definitely could promote some good discussions on conservation.
