This book is really silly, but I have to admit that I LOL’d while reading it. It’s about an unlikely pair of friends…a lazy, paleta-loving cat and adventure-seeking mouse. The cat has vowed never to eat the mouse (they give him indigestion anyway), but mistakenly does after an afternoon of adventures. The story is very entertaining, and has an educational feature of including both spanish and english words throughout the book. There is a glossary at the end of the story to help non-Spanish speakers, and there’s also a recipe for paletas!
