The story opens with Amy the Red Panda beginning to tell a story. Letters fall from above to announce that Amy “is writing the best story in the world.” Other animals want to give input on making the story the best it can be, and pure chaos ensues. At the end, the letters are rearranged to create a phrase that satisfies all.
The illustrations are partially traditional one- or two-page spreads. Some are done in graphic format. All conversations are in enclosed in speech bubbles. If the illustrator’s intention was to create chaos, she accomplished her goal.
