This is the story of Louie, who decides to save a premature donkey by taking care of it. Everyone around him is sure the donkey won’t live long. Louie has hope, and in the end the donkey thrives. Eventually he has to say good-bye to the donkey when it can no longer stay at Louie’s house. The story is also about relationships and not being afraid to love even if goodbyes have to happen.
