Cats and dogs with differing personalities and abilities can use their differences to work together to complete their assigned construction jobs is clearly the theme of this fun tale. Characters are well developed by excellent, detailed, artistic talent. Story line takes many turns but is relatively easy to follow if readers can navigate subtle humor (i.e. subtitle- a bridge too fur) and sometimes higher level vocabulary.
