Wild Is the Wind

Written and Illustrated by Grahame Baker-Smith

I chose to review this book because of its beautiful illustrations. The text and information within is just as captivating. This story follows the wind and a flock of swifts on their migratory journey across deserts, oceans, and other lands from Africa to Asia and back again. I learned something absolutely amazing about these birds that I had to look up just to verify that the information was true–and it is! You’ll have to read the book to find out! I don’t know if children would find this book as interesting as adults.
