I loved this book so much that I want to buy it for my own home for my family to enjoy! So happy! So uplifting! So cute!! The book is voiced by both the Dalai Lama and the Archbishop Desmond Tutu as they describe growing up in two very different places, but both still being able to find joy in their various circumstances. They then turn the story to children around the world, sharing that even in hard times, scary times, and uncertain times, joy can always be found. Then, when that joy is found, it can be shared! The pictures are so full of color and show a wide diversity of kids in various cultures. I loved reading it and cannot wait to share it with my students in the library! Such a happy book!
