Where We Live: Mapping Neighborhoods of Kids Around the Globe

Written by Margriet Ruurs, Illustrated by Wenjia Tang

This book was, in one word, fascinating! The book goes through various locations in the world, talking about how people live, work, go to school, eat, etc. I learned so much about various cultures and places! For example, I had no idea that elders in China often carry a child’s backpack from school for them to show caring–how cool is that! Or that there is a floating village in Cambodia. Amazing! Way cool book! Highly recommend!
