This fun story is about a family that has twelve children named for each month of the year. They all love going on adventures in the outdoors, except Oktober. He prefers reading about adventures in books. One day, he goes outside on a trip with his family. He gets lost and wanders upon a creature called the Wilderness who helps him find home.
The story addresses overcoming one’s fears and worries. The illustrations are colorful and easy to get lost in. My favorite page is where the siblings are in bed sleeping. This is a picture book that both children and adults will enjoy.
