I loved this book about change, transition, about uncomfortable temporary circumstances, and about being hopeful for the future and knowing this moment won’t last forever. I loved the big Hispanic family and the Spanish words and sayings throughout the book, and the relatability of living in a Hispanic household. This book tackled the subject of leaving something you love and hoping for something better. The unknown is hard and scary, but this book provides hope while still addressing the difficulty that comes from losing one’s home.
