This book is written from the prospective of a dog named Sam who thinks his name is No Sam! He has the best of intentions and tries his best, but doesn’t quite “get it.” Kids will love the trouble that happens when Sam acts on what he thinks is happening and the big things he completely misses. In the end, even though what Sam thinks happened is completely different from what really happened, he saves the day.
This is a chapter book with a lot of illustrations, so it would be a great choice for kids who may struggle with other chapter books. It would also be a great read aloud for elementary classes.
