Written and Illustrated by Janie Hao
Who hasn’t been mad at Dad? This is a perfect book about how a child who loses their temper can suddenly feel sad as well. Having emotions is confusing for littles and kinda scary. She loses her temper and starts feeling scared and frustrated. She doesn’t know how to handle those emotions and her dad comes in to calm her down. She discovers she can be mad at him and still love him and reach out to him when she needs to. This is a great book to read to a child, but not a book for a library setting because a lot of the pages fold out.
