Sounds like Joy is absolutely gorgeous to look at! It’s a really simple story of a cute, little mermaid named Joy who finds an instrument, a tambourine, and names it a “jingle-jangle.” When the jingle-jangle breaks, Joy and her friends try to recreate the sounds and have a lot of fun in the meantime. The story itself feels really simple and familiar, but the illustrations are so adorable and sparkly that I know a lot of my younger readers will love looking at this book even if they can’t read yet!
