Written by Cynthia Platt, Illustrated by Josh Cleland
Turkeys in Disguise is a funny book about children saving turkeys on Thanksgiving by dressing them up in disguises. The true magic of this book is in the illustrations. I think younger students will love the funny turkeys in disguise! This book does end with a nod to a vegetarian Thanksgiving, which could be good for some students who follow a vegetarian diet. I enjoyed that the book showed a different way Thanksgiving could be celebrated.
